Consequitur is a service of Quantcha, Inc. The Quantcha Privacy Policy applies to Consequitur and is incorporated here by reference. The notes below describe what Consequitur specifically collects and why.
No account required
Consequitur is free and does not require registration. We do not collect your name, email address, or other directly identifying information through the product. (If you email us through the feedback link, your message arrives through your own mail client like any other email.)
What we store
- An anonymous session identifier. A browser cookie containing a randomly generated id, so the estimates you submit stay associated with your browser and your record persists between visits. It contains no personal details, and we don't attempt to link it to any.
- Your estimates. The estimates you apply, retained to operate the service and to produce aggregated, anonymized analytics that may be incorporated into Quantcha products and data services.
- Abuse-prevention signals. A salted, one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself) and a coarse, non-unique browser signature, used only to detect automated abuse.
- Operational telemetry. Standard request and interaction timing used to keep the service healthy.
Service providers
Consequitur uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection and Microsoft Azure (including Application Insights) for hosting and operational telemetry. These providers process technical request data on our behalf under their own terms.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal information collected through Consequitur, and we do not use it for advertising. Clearing the Consequitur cookie in your browser starts a fresh anonymous session; estimates from the prior session remain in aggregate form but are no longer associated with your browser.
